Dear Colleagues
We are very pleased to invite you, our esteemed colleagues, to the 3rd International Congress of the Anatolian Midwives Association, which will be held by the Anatolian Midwives Association at the Grand Ankara Hotel between 21-24 November 2024. Our international congress, which is one of the most important professional organizational meetings where current developments in the field of midwifery are shared, will be a congress with both pleasant and high scientific outputs with your participation. Our congress, which is in the most integral position of the midwifery profession in our country, has reached these days with the participation and support of not only the board of directors of the Anatolian Midwives Association or academic working groups, but also all our members and you, our esteemed colleagues. Developing midwifery in our country and bringing it to international standards will be the result of the efforts and unity of all of.
This year, as always, our congress will present the current situation and data in midwifery in the light of rich scientific content and our valuable midwives and scientists in the field. In this context, we believe that it will provide a good opportunity for all our colleagues and midwife students. In addition, our congress will be an important platform where scientific knowledge and experience sharing will be at the highest level, as well as providing a rich interaction with the courses, conferences and sessions we will organize with the contributions of our colleagues who will participate from abroad, as well as special sessions where the results of the experience and scientific studies of our colleagues, academicians and student midwives in seven regions of our country are shared and solutions are developed.
In recent years, our country, like the whole world, has gone through difficult times. While the whole world was shutting down during a major health problem such as a pandemic, we midwives did not leave the hands of women, 11 cities in our country suffered great losses in the earthquake, and we did not leave the hands of women while people were trying to fight for their lives. There are wars next to us, humanity is going through a difficult test, but we midwives continue to hold the hands of women. That is why in this congress, we will greet you again with our motto “Start life with a midwife”, which we have been advocating on every platform since the day we were first established. When the women of our country will give birth with a midwife, then we will complete an important mission of our struggle.
Dear colleagues, we have the oldest profession in history and we have always been honored to express this and we have always protected this heritage. It will be thanks to our unity and solidarity that all our values will be accepted again in our professional journey from traditional to scientific. In our rightful journey, we hope to meet with all our colleagues in good health, peace, but most importantly in peace on November 21-24, 2024 in beautiful Ankara, the capital of our Anatolia, Turkey…
